Each month, UUCWC celebrates a theme with opportunities for you to deepen your connection within, among and beyond our community.

This month’s theme is the Practice of Imagination. Here are some ways to become a part of something larger this month:

If you are looking for deepening within, as you Celebrate Life

  • Philadelphia Youth Trip, May 3 – 4, Our youth and their advisors are going to Philadelphia the first weekend of May as part of their racial justice program.
  • Pathways to Membership, May 13, 20, 27, and June 3; 7:30-9pm online – Pathways is a four-session class led by Rev. Kim designed for individuals interested in learning more about UUCWC and those considering membership. In this class, participants explore their personal spiritual journeys, the nature of Unitarian Universalism as a covenantal faith rather than a creedal one, and what it means to maintain healthy relationships with themselves, their community, and the broader universe. Additionally, the course delves into the concept of liberation within the Unitarian Universalist framework. Some independent study and reflection will be required outside of class sessions.
  • Vespers, Wednesday May 21st at 7pm (note the new earlier time), both online and in person. Join the pop up choir at 6:30pm. Join Rev. Lisa for our monthly contemplative Vespers service.
