Sing into Spring! Auction 2022: There’s Something for Everybody!

The much anticipated UUCWC Spring Auction, “Sing into Spring,” is right around the corner! Now’s the time to look ahead and plan your participation in this fundraising and fun-raising, event. Online bidding opens Saturday, April 30, at 9:00 am, and continues through Saturday, May 7, ending promptly at 11:59 pm.

You’re invited to two Auction Events in the UUCWC Crossings Room:

In addition to previewing auction items at these events, you can review the entire array of 200+ items in the professionally printed auction book, which will also be available on the UUCWC website on April 17.
The online auction site will also include a graphic representation of each item being offered. You can map out your auction bidding strategy by selecting the items you’d like, prioritizing them and reviewing the instructions.

Whether you’re interested in meals, services offered by church members, items for your home or to give as gifts, or vacation getaways, there’s something for you in this year’s auction, at all price points.

You’ll find both annual favorites as well as many new offerings:
• Please, Go Away! Stays at a Catskills cabin, a condo in coastal Maine, a historic B&B in the Poconos, and a Rehoboth beach house!
• Start your own Band! A beautiful piano donated by the family of Beverly Railsback, a silver flute, a keyboard and a guitar!
• Spirituality Deepening – Workshops, walks in the woods and
a sermon of your choice by Rev. Kim Wildszewski.
• Dining In or Out – Shrimp and Crab Fest, Día de los Muertos Dinner, Market Roost Brunch, Yardley Inn, Octoberfest, to name a few.
• Homemade Food Delivery – soups, pies, cookies, cakes and breads galore!
• Gift Cards – Brick Farm Market, It’s Nutts, Washington Crossing Inn, Colonial Farms, Piccola Trattoria, Vaseful Florist Shop, Seasons Garden Center, Newtown Bookstore, with many donated by the businesses.
• Services – Bicycle Tune-up/Repair, House Plant Rescue, Hair Styling, Knitting Lessons, Handyman Services, Editing, Videotaping, Croissant Making.
• Events – Wine Tastings, Movie Nights, Golf Outings, Nature Hikes, Craft Workshops.

Auction items that involve a social gathering are expected to follow current COVID-19 guidelines; however, due to changing circumstances, we ask for flexibility on the part of hosts and buyers.
