Ceremonies at UUCWC

uucwc-5Weddings
We welcome all couples to celebrate their marriage at the Unitarian Universalist Church at Washington Crossing (UUCWC). The wedding ceremony can reflect your religious values, your philosophical orientation, and the degree of formality you prefer.  There is no fee for ceremonies for church members; for non-member services, Rev. Wildszewski follows the fee structure recommended by the Unitarian Universalist Minister’s Association. Our lovely grounds offer many photo opportunities for the couple, their party and the family.

Our spacious Crossings Room is a welcoming venue for a wedding rehearsal dinner or a reception for up to 100 people. The use of our commercial kitchen is available to your caterer or chef for an additional fee. To explore the dates and settings available for your wedding, email us at uucwc@uucwc.org

Child Dedications
Child Dedication services can be held during a Sunday service or can be private. Our service includes adult members accepting the responsibility for supporting and educating the child as he or she enters our community. Although godparents are not part of the typical service, they can participate if the parents of the child wish to name godparents for their child.  For more information about child dedication, please contact the office at uucwc@uucwc.org.

Memorial Services
The death of a loved one is a difficult life passage. Rev. Wildszewski is available during this time to assist the family when they are ready to plan a funeral or memorial service. There are no fees for Sanctuary rental or for officiating memorial services for church members; non-member officiant fees are in accordance with recommended fees from the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association. UUCWC also has a Memorial Garden for the placement of ashes for UUCWC congregants; for information on policies, advance arrangements, financial donations, scheduling, and fees. Please contact the office at uucwc@uucwc.org for information about space and time availability and our facility rental fees.
