Provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better.

Fisherman’s Mark, Lambertville  $500.00
Provides services that meet basic needs, such as food and affordable childcare, and partners with individuals and families to promote self-sufficiency and wellness.

HomeFront
HomeFront’s mission is to end homelessness in Central NJ by harnessing the caring, resources and expertise of the community. UUCWC supported HomeFront as follows:

  • Monday Night Tutoring/Wacky Wednesdays: Monday evening tutoring & Wednesday summer activities. $1,053.18
  • Supplies and dinner for Holiday Craft Party for HomeFront and UUCWC children $279.21

I Am Trenton Community Foundation  $1,500.00
Formed in 2007 by a group of individuals united in their passion for the city. They are governed by a diverse, all-volunteer board of trustees committed to the mission of making Trenton even better through community engagement, building pride in the city and community-focused giving.

Isles, Trenton  $1,000.00
A community development and environmental organization based in Trenton, New Jersey. Community garden sponsor.

Loaves and Fishes  $1,111.89
Once a year preparation and serving of a hot meal and providing bag lunches to the hungry at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Trenton, in partnership with the Princeton UU Congregation.

New Hope Gay Pride Parade  $100.00
Registration fee and donation for UUCWC’s delegation.

New Hope Gay Pride Parade, Sponsor of Ministers’ Blessing Booth $125
The NJ Cluster of the UU Minister Association’s booth for an interfaith effort to be “bestower of blessings.” They had a group of about ten clergy, a mix of UU Ministers and those of other faith traditions.

Rescue Mission of Trenton  $500.00
Serves truly needy men and women who have no place to turn for shelter, food, and clothing.

Snipes Farm and Education Center  $500.00
Based in Morrisville, PA, has as its mission to model and teach sustainable farming, while building community and re-connecting people to the land.

UUA Disaster Relief Fund  $1,150.00
This fund is through which the UUA provides assistance to congregations, their members and communities.

UUCWC’s Journey Toward Wholeness Library  $213.65
This justice library provides videos and books for the library, for use by members and friends of UUCWC.

Non-violent communication workshop, film series, support for the Soul Food Dinner fundraiser, RJI events.

UU Ministry for Earth  $455.50
Social justice portion of the plate from the Earth Day service; this amount was matched by $400 from UUCWC’s Earth Ministry.

Welcoming the Stranger  $500.00
An educational non-profit that offers free classes in English as a Second Language (ESL), computer skills, and United States citizenship exam preparation to adult immigrants and refugees in the Philadelphia metro region.
