The Vulnerability of Commitment

Join in celebrating the commitment of our newest members, as a String Quartet accompanies our Choir! We also welcome Anagha Kapsi as a special musical guest.

Anagha Kapsi is a distinguished honors high school senior attending the University Scholars Program – PALCS. She has been playing the violin for the last 12 years. Anagha is an Advanced Study student at the Settlement Music School, studying with Lee Snyder, where she is also the violinist of the Gray Charitable Trust Piano Trio. She is the co-concertmaster of the Delaware County Youth Orchestra (DCYO) and a member of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO). In November 2020, Anagha was featured on NPR’s From the Top, Show 392. Along with playing violin, her other passions are composing and conducting. Two of her compositions have been performed at music school graduation ceremonies. In 2015,
Anagha composed a piece for a string quartet for the Sound of Silent Voices Project, to give voices to children silenced during the Holocaust.
