Anti-Racism Training for Everyone

Thanks to a generous grant from the Endowment Committee, and with additional support from the Council for Faith in Action, UUCWC’s Faith Action Ministry is bringing Christina Rivera, former UUA Board Member and Executive Director of Called to Justice (CTJ) to offer faith-based anti-racism coaching to UUCWC during the August 16-18 weekend.

Choose your workshop or attend all 3!

9am to noon: Exploring What Anti-Racism Work Means to Our Faith
If you are new to the work of racial justice, you will enjoy this workshop.

1:30 to 4:30pm: Making the 8th Principle Come Alive at Both Church and Home
In this workshop, we will build plans for UUCWC’s next moves to live our faith.

7-9pm: Youth are not just the the Unitarian Universalist Future, They Are the Present
This workshop is for teens entering 8th grade and above

Sunday, August 18
Sunday service at 10am: Christina Rivera will be our Sunday speaker
