Organic Gardening Course: Update – Will be held online April 2, 9, 16, 23

Updated information for the Organic Gardening Course, from UUCWC’s Al Johnson, the instructor:

The Organic Gardening Course offered by the Northeast Organic Farming Association of NJ, originally scheduled for March 28 at UUCWC, has been switched to an on-line zoom webinar, the first four Thursday evenings in April (April 2, 9, 16, 23). Each session will start at 6:30pm and is scheduled to last for an hour and a quarter. The four sessions, starting on April 2nd, will be:
1. Site Considerations, Water and Planting
2. Soil Fertility
3. Pest Control
4. Extending the Garden Into the Fall & Small Fruit Primer

Registration is on the NOFA website (www.nofanj.org). UUCWC is still a co-sponsor so anyone in our community can register as a NOFA Member at the discount rate. We will likely be emailing some handouts so email addresses will be needed and pre-registration is a must. Registrants will be given links to download a ZOOM app if they do not already have one and the link to the event.  The fee is $25 for the course, or $10 for individual sessions.
