ABOUT THE BAND
Raul y su ClaveAché is an authentic Cuban music group created by Raul Cisneros, a professional percussionist, musical director, producer, songwriter, and composer with more than 20 years of performance experience. Raul originates from Santiago de Cuba, the birthplace of Son Cubano, and lived for more than 10 years in London playing with many world- renowned artists. In addition to original compositions and arrangements by Raul, the group’s repertoire spans from traditional Cuban melodies of the early 1900’s to contemporary Cuban music. <!- In their upcoming season, Raul y su ClaveAché will perform at the Havana International Jazz Festival, MAD Jazz Festival, The Barnes Foundation, University of Pennsylvania, PHS Philadelphia Flower Show, Temple University, World Café Live, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Kimmel Center.
