Each month, UUCWC celebrates a theme with opportunities for you to deepen your connection within, among and beyond our community

The theme for this month is “Paying Attention”.

Here are some ways to become a part of something larger this month:

If you are looking for deepening within, as you Celebrate Life  

  • Pathways, Tuesdays nights: February 3, 17; and March 3, 17 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm on Zoom, Pathways is a 4-session conversation about faith, UU-ism, and UUCWC, facilitated by Rev. Kim for both people new to Unitarian Universalism and long-time members. Some at-home study and reflection is part of the class. Each person’s perspective adds means and knowledge to the conversation. This class is required if you are interested in becoming a member.
  • Vespers: March 18: 7-8pm: Closing our their ministry, Rev. Lisa is offering the last-ever Vespers service. This contemplative, music-filled service is an opportunity to care for your spirit, slow down the noise of the world, and just be. Join others in the sanctuary or online.
  • A Chanting Meditation to Improve Memory“, Sunday, March 15 from 11:30-12:30 at UUCWC OR Thursday evening, March 19 from 7:00-8:00 on Zoom, Facilitated by Wendy Stasolla.
    This workshop focuses on the meditation practice known as Kirtan Kriya which is a chanting meditation that stimulates blood vessels in the part of the brain that deals with memory. Click HERE to register!
  • Sunday, March 22 – Sunday Family Board Games – Every fourth Sunday, there will be an opportunity for Family Fun! Meet us in Room 102 during coffee hour!
  • March 29: Ritual of Connection & Release, We celebrate our newest members to UUCWC, while also releasing Rev. Lisa from their covenant with us as our Minister for Justice and Pastoral Care. Stay for a celebratory potluck from 11-12pm. Stick around longer for the rescheduled Big Band concert at 12pm!
  • Sunday Service Reflection: Every Sunday from 11:15am – 12:30pm in room 202 and online – Join Linda Hahola for a facilitated conversation about the Sunday morning service.
  • Lectio Divina (Reading Poems Prayerfully), weekly on Thursdays, at 10:00am. 
  • Connect, Reflect, and Grow in a Monthly Small Group! You are invited to join a chalice circle at any time during the year. For more information, click here.
