Each month, UUCWC celebrates a theme with opportunities for you to deepen your connection within, among and beyond our community. 

The theme for this month is “Flourishing Together”

Here are some ways to become a part of something larger this month:

If you are looking for deepening within, as you Celebrate Life  

• Annual Meeting, Sunday, June 7 at 11:30am, this Sunday, church members will vote on the slate of leadership, approve the budget, and hear reports about church business at our multiplatform Annual Meeting. All are welcome to join us, but only church members will be eligible to vote.

• Flower Ceremony, June 14, during service,  we gather for our annual Flower Ceremony, an important, timely and beautiful ritual that reminds us of the beauty we made together this year, and the radical resistance such beauty symbolizes. A Philadelphia based Big Band will be joining our choir to bring incredible music during and after the service!

• Vespers: June 17, 7–8pm: This contemplative, music-filled service is an opportunity to care for your spirit, slow down the noise of the world, and just be. Join others in the sanctuary or online.

• We Shall Not Be Moved: Songs & Speeches from the Civil Rights Movement, Friday, June 19, 7:30pm – Honor Juneteenth at this concert featuring baritone, Keith Spencer. Purchase tickets at uucwc.booktix.com.

• A Place at the Table: Community Dinner to Support Refugees, Saturday, June 27, 5:00-8:30pm Join the Faith Action Ministry (FAM) for an evening of delicious food, meaningful connection, and inspiring stories as we come together to support refugee families and the organizations that serve them. • Sunday Service Reflection: Every Sunday from 11:15am – 12:30pm in room 202 and online – Join Linda Hahola for a facilitated conversation about the Sunday morning service.

• Lectio Divina (Reading Poems Prayerfully), weekly on Thursdays, at 10:00am. 

• Connect, Reflect, and Grow in a Monthly Small Group! You are invited to join a chalice circle at any time during the year. For more information, click here.
