Change the World This Month at UUCWC

Each month, UUCWC celebrates a theme with opportunities for you to deepen your connection within, among and beyond our community.  

The theme for this month is “Courage.”

Here are some invitations to become a part of something larger this month:

It’s all about Changing the World this month:

  • The Food Ministry will hold a food drive on October 4 for the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry. Donations can be dropped off in the red collection bin next to the tables in the lower lobby. See the Weekly Announcements for a list of donation items.
  • Trenton Walks Hike: Behind the scenes at the Delaware River Basin Commission, Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 pm – Meet DRBC representatives at the Commission offices at 25 Casey Road, Ewing.  The walk is 1.8 miles, crossing the Delaware River and following the towpath. The tour includes a visit to an on site laboratory to learn about the work protecting the Delaware River Basin.  For more information contact Outdooradventures@uucwc.org.  
  • Raise Right is a congregational driven revenue generating opportunity for UUCWC that takes place on a monthly basis. Gift cards are purchased for use in various retail stores and the church gets a small monetary rebate that becomes part of our fund raising effort. Join the effort by going to the Raise Right website www.raiseright.com or raiseright@uucwc.org
  • Weekly Protest in Hopewell Borough: Every Thursday, 5:30-6:30pm, corner of Greenwood Ave and Broad St. UUCWC members are there every week!
