8 Sacred Circles to Celebrate the Spring Equinox on March 20

The spring equinox is a time when we are balanced between two phases — winter and spring, which represent death and rebirth. We often celebrate the spring equinox as a holiday of rebirth and resurrection. But that is the season to come; on the equinox, we are poised in the middle of these two parts of the cycle of life.

On Monday, March 20 at UUCWC, Jamie Evanini will lead 8 Sacred Circles’ celebration of Ostara, the spring equinox, at UUCWC. Jamie will lead us through a brief guided meditation describing cycles of breaking apart and coming together, as well as a sharing ritual focused on what have you just “given birth to”?

Doors open at 7:15 and our celebration begins at 7:30. There is a brief orientation for newcomers beforehand. Afterward, we share fellowship and those who are able are asked to bring a snack to share. For more information, please contact Mike or Heidi Dalzell or Penny Gardner at 8sacredcircles@uucwc.org.
