Faith Action Ministry

The Faith Action Ministry (FAM) is here to help you address the issues of the day by turning our eight UU Principles into action.

After a very successful first year, our weekly Action Table is back in the Crossings Room during the Middle Hour and after the second service. We hope to get even more visitors to the Table in 2019/2020! The FAM has also taken on the Journey Toward Wholeness Library and, in collaboration with Jim Bicksler, are looking at creative ways to share this wonderful resource.

This fall, we have expanded our English as a Second Language Program and have started another class in Robbinsville (the original class is in Hightstown). We are in desperate need of assistant teachers for the class in Robbinsville which meets from 7-9 Mondays.

In partnership with St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church in Hightstown, and in collaboration with students from the ESL class, there will be a Community Dinner to benefit the Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF). The event will take place on October 19. Tickets can be purchased at this link, or in-person at the UUCWC Action Table on Sundays.
