Rev. Dr. Mary Early-Zald is a UU minister and recently started serving at the UU Congregation of Somerset Hills in Somerville. She earned her Masters of Divinity at Vanderbilt University and her Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. A UU since 2001, Mary has provided spiritual care in urban, hospital, and congregational settings for eight years, and worked in counseling roles for 30 years. A native of Santa Monica, California, she has lived in every region of the US except the Pacific Northwest and moved to Central New Jersey in early 2020 from Nashville, TN. Mary lives with David, her husband, and their two delightful Burmese cats, Nina (Simone) and Ella (Baker).
