UUA and UUCWC Common Read

UUCWC’s Racial Justice Initiative is encouraging congregants to read The Third Reconstruction: How a Moral Movement is Overcoming the Politics of Division and Fear by Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II with Jonathan Wilson-Hargrove.

To quote from the UUA website: “The Third Reconstruction offers helpful, practical guidance for engaging with justice movements born in response to local experiences of larger injustices.”

This book has already been read and discussed by UUCWC’s Racial Justice Book Group but the Racial Justice Initiative will be facilitating a further discussion group in the Spring for those folks who did not participate in the book group.

A date will be announced shortly. Please email racialjustice@uucwc.org if you have questions or need more information.
