Join the UUCWC Outdoor Adventures hike on Saturday, April 18 in Trenton, NJ. 

We will walk along the D&R Canal from Lower Ferry Road to Cadwalader Park and then up to the Ellarslie Museum. Randy Baum, a Trenton arborist and licensed landscape designer, will walk us through the park and discuss the highlights and history of this, one of Olmsted’s parks, and its recent upgrades. We will take a short tour of the museum.

We will then walk back on the canal to the parking lot on Lower Ferry Rd. We may take a short side trip further along the Canal path to see what Randy has done at his house – it’s an amazing garden oasis that stands out along the canal. The total walk is about 3 miles at most.

Meet at 11:30am at the Lower Ferry Road parking lot next to the canal path near the Trenton Country Club. Parking is limited at that location, so please consider carpooling.  RSVP: outdooradventures@uucwc.org.
