A Place at the Table: Community Dinner to Support Refugees

Join us for an evening of connection, storytelling, and shared community as we come together to support refugee families. We are honored to share a delicious, home-cooked Middle Eastern meal prepared by Chef Sobheih and her daughters.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit:

  • Temple Beth-El of Hillsborough Refugee Resettlement Committee, NJ
  • Bucks County Interfaith Coalition for Refugee Resettlement (BCIRR) Newtown, PA

Funds will support both ongoing needs and new initiatives to help refugee families prepare for and respond to ICE-related challenges.

Organized by the Faith Action Ministry (FAM).

Choose the ticket level that feels right to you:

  • $10 – Talk & Dessert (join us for the program and sweet treats)
  • $25 – Community Dinner (full meal + program)
  • $50 – Sponsor Ticket (helps cover the cost for a refugee guest)
  • $100 – Supporter Ticket (helps sustain the event and expand our impact)
  • Children are free (art activities offered)

If you’re able, please consider selecting a higher level to help keep this event accessible to all.

Can’t attend? You can still support the event by making a donation through Realm Giving (write Place at the Table in memo line).
