LGBTQ 101 w/ Garden State Equality, at the Hopewell Valley Central High School (259 Pennington-Titusville Rd, Pennington NJ 08534)
A workshop for the school staff and the wider community to learn about the challenges faced by LGBTQ youth in school and the wider community. Participants will learn how to be inclusive and affirming of the LGBTQ community. (The Faith Action Ministry and some of UUCWC’s talented bakers are providing snacks, drinks and desserts for this event, and we hope to see many of you there!) For more info or to register, go here.

“2020 Vision” Gathering & UU the Vote Watch Party, at UUCWC
Please join the Faith Action Ministry next Sunday afternoon to review and celebrate all that we did in 2019 (it was a lot!!), and gather inspiration for putting our faith into action in 2020. Then, at 4pm, we will watch the online launch/webinar of the UUA’s big 2020 campaign, “UU the Vote”, a program to get UUs involved in protecting voting rights and increasing voter turnout in Nov. 2020.
