The next Outdoor Adventures hike will take place in Tyler State Park on Sunday, August 18, with Bruce and Sandi McIntyre leading the way.

We will meet at the Boat House in Tyler State Park, Newtown, PA, at 12:30pm. From there, we’ll walk along the creek for a couple of miles (or however long we like), enjoying a shady (sometimes sunny), paved and gravel trail. It’s mostly flat, with some incline, but overall an easy and relaxing walk. The main trail branches off in spots onto other trails.

For GPS, ask for Tyler State Park Boat House, Tyler State Park Picnic Area, Newtown, PA.

Take the main entrance road down to the four-way stop sign, make a right, and drive through the large fields all the way down through to the forested area. You’ll reach the Boat House parking lot on your right. It’s the last parking lot, and you’ll see the creek ahead. Park in that lot. The Boat House and canoe rental pavilion is there, and bathrooms are available.
