Unitarian Universalist Church at Washington Crossing

The Unitarian Universalist Church at Washington Crossing offers facilities for events, gatherings, and recurring meetings. With a variety of comfortable rooms, we can accommodate groups of all sizes, from just a few to up to 250 people.

UUCWC has received approval from Hopewell Township to construct a full-service kitchen, and we expect to be able to make full kitchen facilities available to the public in early 2011.

Our rooms

Sanctuary

Located on the main floor, the sanctuary provides a beautiful location for weddings and civil union services. The setting and acoustics lend themselves to concerts, recitals, and larger meetings. This room can comfortably seat 250 people, or can be configured to accommodate 10 to 12 banquet-style tables (available from the church) or 12 to 14 round tables (provided by renter). Please note that food and beverages are not permitted in the sanctuary.

Crossings Room

Our Crossings Room on the lower level is often used for mid-sized meetings, forums, showers, birthday parties, and small conferences. It can accommodate about 100 people seated “auditorium style” or 10 banquet-style tables that will each seat 8 people.

Kitchen

Our licensed, modern kitchen, adjacent to the Crossings Room, can be used to warm and prepare food.

Wireless Network

Wireless Internet access is available with your wi-fi enabled computer throughout the building.

Accessibility

The upper and lower levels are accessible by ramp from the outside of the building. Inside, a chairlift can take people up or down the main stairway. The front door and upper-level restroom doors are handicapped accesible.
