September 25
Chris Smither
w/ special guests Deb Pasternak
8:00 pm / tickets $20

Chris Smither is a legend on the folk and blues circuit. No wonder, he's been touring since the mid 1960s. His music draws as deeply from the blues as it does from American folk music, modern poets, and humanist philosophers. His latest album, and 11th studio recording, "Train Home", includes all the Smither musical hallmarks his fans expect, as well as superb covers of Dylan's "Desolation Row" and Dave Carter's "Crocodile Man".

Deb Pasternak's music spans many genres from country to rock, to folk to blues to jazz, often all in one set.

October 23
Eszter Balint & Full Frontal Folk
8:00 pm / tickets $18

Art house movie fans may remember Eszter Balint as the Hungarian cousin in Jim Jarmusch's 1984 film "Stranger Than Paradise" or from Steve Buscemi's "Trees Lounge". These days Eszter is an accomplished musician and songwriter with two CDs and a super band. Her second CD, "Mud", was released this past summer and lauded by "Rolling Stone" magazine, which wrote: "Miss Balint has her own film-noir sensibility as a songwriter. She puts arty twists into back-alley Americana... But the cleverness is not the point. [She] slips inside her characters to project their restlessness and longing..."

Are you ready for another Full Frontal blitz? The girls are back with a brand new CD, killer harmonies and a stage show that illustrates just how much fun traditional folk music can be when embraced by four women with new wave sensibilities and rock and roll hearts.

November 6
Paul & Storm from Da Vinci's Notebook
w/ special guest Gina Scipione
8:00 pm / tickets $15

Paul Sabourin and Greg "Storm" DiCostanzo have been writing and performing original music together for more a decade. Millions are familiar with Paul and Storm from the years they spent as one-half of the widely acclaimed comedy-a cappella group Da Vinci's Notebook. Bravely picking up instruments, Paul and Storm have penned a whole new slate of songs in the same twisted spirit. As an energetic acoustic power duo, Paul and Storm delight in inflicting their material - which ranges from the bitingly satirical to the charmingly crass - upon unsuspecting audiences, and then watching them succumb to laughter mixed with "did-they-really-just-say-that?" incredulity.

"The Courier-Post" of Southern NJ calls Gina Scipione "one of the Delaware Valley's hottest up-and-coming acts". With musical influences from Kate Bush to Billie Holiday, Gina gracefully intertwines piano and voice to create a unique mixture of introspective emotion with accessible melodies.
